Earlier Diagnosis of Autism via Computer Vision

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by (a) persistent deficits in social communication and interaction, and (b) the presence of restrictive, repetitive patterns of behaviours, interests, or activities. This project aims to detect autism in children as early as 18 to 36 months through multimodal analysis. The project is a collaboration between International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, India and Centre for Advanced Research and Excellence in Autism & Developmental Disorders (CARE-ADD) at St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences in Bangalore, India.
